There are several different types of rowing crew training out of the Corpus Boathouse. From the novice crews of Michaelmas term training for Christ Church Regatta, to the Senior Crews of “bumps” racing, each team of nine people (eight rowers and a cox), once finalised, spends up to seven training sessions a week together, over several months, preparing for their respective races. This sections lists those rowers who have made the official crews, their “seats” (or positions) in each boat, and each crew’s Captain.

However, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in CCCBC crews on a more ad-hoc basis. Over the past few years, casual Novice or “fun-boats” have been rowed by ex-Senior rowers, Novice rowers unable to commit to full training, mature or graduate students, and exchange students from Stanford University.
